How to Get Death by Mountain Climbing Fall in The Sims 4
Climbing Mt Komorebi is a wild thing to do because yoru sim can experience the sims 4 death by mountain climbing fall!
This comes with The Sims 4: Snowy Escape and happens when a sim is not properly prepared on a mountain excursion.
How to Get Death by Mountain Climbing Fall in The Sims 4
To have this death type happen your sim will need to attend a mountain climbing excursion which you can do under the plan social event option under the social menu in your sim’s phone.
You’ll need to choose an excursion leader and some other sims to join the excursion. To do the climb that can kill sims you’ll need to get through the first two stages which happen at the top of the ski-lift and then at the base camp.
The climb that can have your sims die is the Croft Icefall which happens after the base camp and is the final stage before reaching the peak of the mountain. Sims aren’t able to attempt this climb until they are at level six of the rock climbing skill. You’ll get a notification that says “the climb up the croft ice fall…” and that is when you can climb the largest of the walls and experience this death.
You’ll want to click on the tall climbing wall and choose attempt to climb. You’ll need them to fall down this and get the battered and bruised moodlet that’s +2 uncomfortable. If a sim has a bad fall again during the time of this moodlet, they will die on the mountain!
I had to have my sims attempt to climb the Croft Icefall and then climb down and do it again over and over until they died.
Some things you can do to make sure your sims are more likely to fall include:
- Only having level 6 of the skill so you can only attempt to climb
- Not bringing any climbing gear
- Not preparing with stretching or chalk
- Going on days where there is heavy snow or a blizzard
If the official excursion ends before a sim dies, you can keep climbing without leaving. Just be prepared with food and anything else they need to stay alive.
Mountain Climbing Ghost
The mountain climbing ghosts don’t have that interesting of a ghost, so nothing super fun to see here.
These ghosts will have the death by falling from heights trait that says “This sim has found death via a fall from heights.”
