If your sim tries to repair electronics without skills they can experience the sims 4 death by electrocution.

This death type is available to all players with the base game and is pretty easy to experience.

Getting electrocuted happens when a sim tries to repair a broken electronic item like a computer or TV. Sims who has low levels of the handiness skill or are in bad moods are more likely to be electrocuted.

When you get electrocuted for the first time your sim will get a +40 Dazed moodlet called Seriously Fried. It warns that you shouldn’t mess with electronics for a while, and should not repair anything until that moodlet expires.

If your sim has this moodlet and goes ahead and tries to repair an electronic, they’ll definitely get electrocuted.

When it happens the sim will have electricity bolts shooting them into the air until they fall to the ground.

Electrocution Ghost

The ghost for these sims has a bolt of electricity going through their body that you can see at all times. This is fun because the visual effects remind you exactly how the sim died!

These ghosts will have the death by electrocution trait that says “This sim met a shocking end due to a fatal electrocution.”
