What is Selvadoradian Culture Good For?

This skill isn’t great for day to day gameplay but can have a couple fun things your sims can do. These include unlocking the ability to write travel guides that you can publish for royalties and even unlocking secret menu foods when you’re visiting the world.

You’ll choose any of the rentals and choose how long to stay. Then you can start adventuring around the world and gaining this skill.

The first way you can gain this skill is through eating and drinking local cuisine. You can find a cute little food stall outside of the Cantina (located in the bottom right neighbourhood) where you can get drinks and food to eat.

Your sim will gain the skill anytime they eat or drink anything from this stall. Plus, your sims will learn how to cook these recipes after they try them for the first time!

The next way you can earn this skill is through chatting with the locals. Any sims who are from this world can have these conversations, but if you find Mortimer Goth in Selvadorada you won’t find any of the interactions available.

There are a whole bunch of these interactions to choose from and you’ll get more as you raise in the skill.

Any interactions that gain the skill will have the same mask icon in front of them so you know exactly which ones to choose to gain this skill.

Best Mood for Gaining Selvadoradian Culture

With most skills in The Sims 4 there is an attached mood that can help your sims gain the skill more quickly. Well, that doesn’t really matter for this skill. All you need to do for this one is eat, drink and chat with locals so just having your sim be happy is fine.

Best Traits for Selvadoradian Culture

The traits you give your sims are important to make sure they have fun with whatever things they’re doing and these traits can be helpful:

  • Outgoing: Most of this skill is just chatting with locals, so you don’t want a sim who is a loner, you want someone who is outgoing and likes chatting with other sims.
  • Loves The Outdoors: Both the market stalls and food stalls are outside and your sim can find lots of sims to chat with outdoors, so why not take advantage and get your sim a happy moodlet when outside?
