To get the Plants Lie here fable you’ll need to find the Mystical Fairy who is located in Everdew next to the fable board that you can find outside of Starsong Lounge.
You’ll click on this sim and choose acquire a fable. However, you will need to have first finished the rise and shine fable from the Gnome Enthusiast.

“Two gardens sat fine, across the yard line, of two neighbours who varied in skill. One garden grew tall, with crops ready for fall, and the other was withered and ill. Now that neighbour in need, did not care to weed, and put all the blame on the other. And the cause of their doubt, to the garden’s clear drought, were pixies that came in to smother…”
- Obtain Aura Petals
There are a few ways your sim can get these with the first being foraging. The best way is to use forage for apothecary ingredients which unlocks with level two of the apothecary skill.
When you forage you’ll get one at a time, so you’d need to forage multiple times.
The next thing you can do is to have an aura blossom plant at your sim’s lot. You can actually get an aura blossom seed from the Not Mushroom for Error fable and plant it in your sim’s house.
The final way you can do this is to click on an apothecary table and choose purchase basic apothecary ingredients and you can purchase these for 7 simoleons each.
- Deliver Item
Once you’ve collected three aura petals you’ll head back to the fable board in Everdew to the Mystical Fairy and click on them. Then choose deliver item and you’ll finish the fable!
Rewards for Completing the Fable
“They must have been drawn, towards the neighbouring lawn, after soaking up all of the dust. But no pixies were present at this garden so pleasant, so the neighbour’s big lie was a bust. Yet still they denied that their garden had died from their fatal lack of care. All of their hard work was something to shirk, and come winter their pantry was bare.”
When your sim finishes this fable they will get an aura blossom seed to plant their own aura blossom plant as well as some flower seeds!
